A concept, interior and lighting design for a wine bar and restaurant. A soaring ceiling height of 7 metres provides the spatial setting for an interior materials palette of honey and cork hued plywood panelling, ink-stained cabinetry, black sheet rubber flooring and a bar of solid matte black granite stone. The geometric form of the bar itself, with it’s darker lowered height ceiling, sits below the towering white-cubed ceiling space adjacent. Pivotal to the surrounding is the main structural building column which has been concealed within an oak plywood clad sculptural form integrating bottle display, storage and counter seating.
